Once the physical part of rehabilitation is complete, how do we provide a PRESCRIPTION that allows the person to make a successful transition into areas that give them future prospects? The challenge lies in finding rewarding employment for people with disabilities “WHO CAN AND WANT TO WORK.”
As part of our ongoing program (Community Based Rehabilitation program in Lambha area ) to empower people with disabilities and give them equal opportunities to live a life of dignity and self esteem we set up 3 gallas for our beneficiaries, who have also been given tricycles last year by Our Ashiana. We have also checked their paperwork to make sure that the tiny bit of land the gallas stand on is clear and in their name.
